Charity and Philanthropy

The Company is committed to partnering with and supporting non-profit and charitable organizations that make a meaningful impact in the world. To reflect this commitment, 22% of the Company’s token allocation has been set aside in a dedicated on-chain wallet reserved for charitable and philanthropic initiatives (the “Charity Allocation”).

The Charity Allocation relates only to tokens held by the Company. It does not give token holders, charities or any other party a legal or beneficial right to receive funding, and the Charity Allocation is not a trust, fund or managed investment scheme for the benefit of any third party.

Areas of Focus

From time to time, the Company may direct a portion of the Charity Allocation to organizations and initiatives that address global and local challenges, which may include:

  • Natural disasters – organizations that aid communities affected by natural disasters

  • Human trafficking – organizations that combat exploitation, forced labour and modern slavery

  • Poverty – organizations that provide food, shelter, education and economic opportunities to those in need

  • Addiction – programs that help individuals overcome substance abuse and pursue recovery

  • Domestic violence – organizations that support victims, raise awareness and promote prevention and education

  • Mental health – initiatives focused on mental health care, awareness and suicide prevention

  • Environmental protection – efforts that advance conservation, sustainability and protection of ecosystems, including land and ocean wildlife

Decisions about which causes, projects or organizations to support, and the timing and amount of any contributions, will be made by the Company in its discretion, having regard to its resources, priorities and any applicable legal or regulatory considerations.

Donation Features

In addition to its own charitable initiatives, the THAT app may introduce an optional donation feature that allows users to send THAT or other supported digital assets directly to independent charities or non-profit organisations that choose to receive them. Any such feature will be introduced progressively, subject to regional availability, technical feasibility and applicable compliance requirements.

Charities and non-profit organisations that appear in the app will be selected at the Company’s discretion and may be subject to basic due diligence to assess credibility and general alignment with the Company’s values. Inclusion in the app does not constitute an endorsement of any particular organization, nor does the Company guarantee how any donated funds will be used.

Users remain responsible for their own decisions to donate, including any tax, legal or regulatory consequences. The Company does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice, and does not guarantee that donations made via digital assets will be tax-deductible in any jurisdiction.
