Ecosystem Tools & Context

This section briefly describes the main categories of tools that may be developed around THAT. These descriptions are provided to give context and are not exhaustive technical specifications.

THAT app (non-custodial wallet)

The Company develops a non-custodial mobile application (the “THAT app”) that allows users to:

  • create and manage self-custodied wallets

  • view balances and transaction history for supported digital assets

  • construct, sign, and broadcast standard on-chain transactions

  • in some cases, discover independent merchants who indicate that they accept digital assets.

The THAT app is a user-side interface. Users generate and control their own keys on their devices, and the Company does not have access to seed phrases or private keys and cannot restore access if they are lost. Private keys are stored locally in encrypted form and are used to sign transactions on-device, which are then broadcast to public networks.

The THAT app is not a remittance service, card scheme, account-based payment product, or other non-cash payment facility operated by the Company. It does not involve the Company receiving, holding, or pooling customer funds, or undertaking to make payments to multiple payees on behalf of users.

The app may include links or interfaces to independent third-party protocols and services (for example, exchanges, on-ramps, off-ramps, decentralized exchanges, or bridges). These services are operated by third parties. The Company does not operate an exchange, order book, or market, does not act as counterparty to swaps or trades, and does not provide exchange, remittance, or payment services.

THAT Directory app (informational)

The Company also develops an informational mobile application (the “THAT Directory app”) that focuses on discovery rather than wallet functions. The THAT Directory app does not allow users to hold, send, or receive digital assets. Its purpose is to help users find independent businesses that indicate they accept THAT or other digital assets and to view basic information about those businesses.

Merchant Directory (informational)

The THAT app, the THAT Directory app, third-party apps or wallets, and other web interfaces may surface an informational directory of independent merchants and their details (for example, location, contact information, and nominated on-chain addresses). Merchants listed in the directory are independent third parties. Inclusion in the directory:

  • does not mean the Company endorses, recommends, or has independently verified any merchant, product, or service

  • does not guarantee that a merchant will accept any particular digital asset or that listing information is current or accurate

  • does not create any relationship between the Company and the merchant beyond provision of the listing.

Any commercial arrangements and on-chain transfers occur directly between users and merchants using their own wallets.

Merchants may choose to publish offers or promotions in the THAT Directory app. Users can view and, where supported, claim or present these offers directly to the merchant. Any such offers are set and administered by the relevant merchant, not by the Company. Claiming or displaying an offer does not create an account, stored-value balance, or other entitlement against the Company; any discounts or benefits are applied, if at all, by the merchant at its discretion as part of the direct relationship between the merchant and the user.

NFTs and related features

The Company may introduce non-fungible token (“NFT”) features designed to support access and loyalty-based use cases (for example, digital passes or membership tokens) within the ecosystem. NFTs associated with the THAT app are intended to:

  • represent access, status, or benefits defined by participating merchants or projects, and

  • avoid conferring rights to profits, revenue sharing, dividends, interest, repayment of capital, ownership in the Company, or governance rights over any pooled enterprise.

NFTs, where implemented, are standard tokens on public blockchains that can be held, sent, and received using compatible wallets. Independent marketplaces and secondary venues for NFTs, where they exist, are operated by third parties and not by the Company. The Company does not operate an NFT exchange or order book and does not guarantee that any NFT will be tradable or have a particular value or liquidity.

Availability and configuration of any wallet, directory, or NFT-related functionality may differ between regions, devices, and user groups and may be updated, suspended, or withdrawn over time.
